Animations and Entities

 

 

As Silent already showed in a nice youtube video, I took the liberty of testing it out slightly larger scale with added animated flowers to the mix of the gameworld.

Needless to say, it actually worked :} albeit I did find some areas of code that need to be recoded a bit to handle the increased amount of managed entities – at the moment we were fine with a ConcurrentDictionary<> but that’s now basically a no-go with the amount of new entities that get created, removed and so forth. Still.. it makes for a nice ‘flowery’ experience running through the world 😉
